Meet ChappyWrap

The story starts with a single family blanket—a cozy, reversible cotton blanket that became a treasured part of family life. When founder Beth Haller LaSala realized nothing else compared to that well-loved heirloom, she set out to create a blanket that captured the same warmth, durability, and timeless appeal. In 2006, ChappyWrap was born.

Today, ChappyWrap remains a family-run business based in Portland, Maine, led by Beth's daughter, Christina, and her husband, Drake. Inspired by the New England coast and built on Beth's legacy of kindness and connection, the company continues to design blankets that are made to be used every day, shared with loved ones, and passed down for years to come.

Each blanket is thoughtfully woven in family-owned mills in Germany and Poland using a premium cotton blend that is exceptionally soft, breathable, machine washable, and resistant to pilling. Rather than printed designs, every pattern is woven directly into the fabric using traditional Jacquard weaving techniques, creating the signature quality and durability ChappyWrap is known for.
