Meet Curio Spice Co.

Founded in Massachusetts by Claire Cheney in 2015, Curio began with a mission to improve the lives of spice farmers while inspiring culinary creativity. Today, the woman-owned Certified B Corporation works directly with small farms and producers locally and globally, paying above Fair Trade prices and building relationships that create greater transparency from farm to kitchen.

Curio places a special emphasis on supporting women farmers and women-owned businesses, while also prioritizing organic ingredients, environmental responsibility, and its New England community. In fact, Curio sources ingredients from more than 20 farms right here in New England.

And then, of course, there are the spices! Curio grinds and blends its spices in-house in Massachusetts, creating everything from beautiful single-origin spices to inventive blends inspired by flavors and culinary traditions from around the world. Each one is designed to spark a little curiosity and make everyday cooking more exciting.
